YAM AND SWEET POTATO LABELS
Over the past several years, Yam and Sweet Potato labels from the American south, primarily Texas and Louisiana, have become ever-more popular as a collectible. Today, many people seek new additions to their collections. Here is a list of the ones we have available. Some are for sale, some are for trade only. Many are from the files of Schmidt Lithograph Company's now extinct sample-room. Those will be marked as such. Prices are based on supply, demand and graphic content. There are currently about 550 different yam and sweet potato label examples surviving. There are varying quantities of some of them available. And, new ones seem to be being found fairly regularly. One fellow from Arizona has a book out about yam labels. I will try to get this section done by Christmas '99.
