how to buy!
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We have several methods for your convenience, all of which are secure and dependable!

1) PERSONAL AND BUSINESS CHECKS:

accepts personal and business checks. No orders will be shipped until checks clear their original issuing bank, which may take approximately 5-10 days. Checks are deposited when your order is processed, whether or not items have been back-ordered. Please make your check payable to Pat Jacobsen and send it to:

BE ABSOLUTELY SURE to include a note with your name and address and a list of what you are ordering. Checks received without such information, shall be returned.

RETURNED CHECK POLICY:
If your check is returned for insufficient funds, lack of signiture or any other reason, you will be responsible for not only the full value of the check, but a $25.00 Service Fee also. Returned checks not reclaimed by the issuer, will be turned over to a collections company, and the issuer shall be responsible for any fees added on by the collection agency.

2) MONEY ORDERS:

accepts money orders, including Western Union, USPS, and other forms of USA and International instruments. No orders will be shipped until money orders clear, which may take approximately 10 days.

3) INTERNATIONAL POSTAL MONEY ORDERS:
(U.S. Postal System Only)
In certain cases, international Postal Money Orders may be used as payment. Products will not ship until the money order has cleared the U.S. Postal System. Surplus funds may be applied to future buys, or, credited with an fruitcratelabels.com Gift Certificate. In case of insufficient funds being received, fruitcratelabels.com will delete one selection from the order.

4) CASH PURCHASES / RETAIL SALES
Cash is welcome only in person in our offices (in Auburn, California). DO NOT SEND CASH OF ANY KIND THROUGH MAIL SERVICES OR BY INUNSURED MESSENGER. No foreign currency accepted. All foreign payments are calculated in U.S. Dollars, at the current rate of exchange.

SALES TAX:
Sales tax on purchases is based upon the zip code that the products are being shipped to. Zip codes based in California will be taxed based upon their local tax rate (7.25% + any local sales taxes). Purchases made from outside of California are not subject to sales tax.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY:Because of the fast-moving nature of the label and collectibles businesses, prices and availability are subject to change without notice. If a label is not in stock when you place your order, (for example not yet in stock or sold out), we will do our best to let you know and to let you know when and/or if the merchandise will be available.


Unfortunately, we do not have a bank-based merchant account yet for our on-line customers. So, until we do, we ask that you use the above methods of payment. Banks generally require a certain set of conditions for such an account, conditions which our (my) modest site does not yet meet. But when we do, here is what we hope to offer:

Wewill accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. Charges are made only when product is ready to ship and your order filled. You can give us your number online; or, by faxing us your information at (530) 637-5923 or, you may complete the transaction over the phone. You may use pgp encryption, phone, fax, or maintain an account with us and we will store your number on a secure database for future orders, and bill your card automatically for each transaction. Our phone and fax numbers and address are at the bottom of this page. Applicable sales tax will be required for purchases made/shipped within California. Be sure to include applicable shipping and handling fees.

All credit card purchases are required to get an approval code before product can be shipped. Your billing address must be entered exactly as it appears on your billing statement. This information is used for verification, authorization and security purposes. If this information is incorrect we may not be able to process your order. Credit card orders shipped to other than your billing address may require additional verification.
