Styles: The band refers to themselves as "electric jazz" crossing from smooth jazz to jazz-fusion, with emphasis on a song-list ranging between high energy production tunes and romantic ballads. Their original music is centered around being internationally appealing in the spirit of the many world-wide jazz festivals now widely attended in California, Hawaii, France (and elsewhere in Europe), Australia, Canada and so on.

From a recent interview with bassist and manager Pat Jacobsen; "Although we are building our original music show, in the meantime we are performing material by many well-respected jazz greats, like Al Jarreau, Donald Fagen and Steely Dan, Gino Vannelli, Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius, Larry Carlton, Pat Metheny, Sting, Yellowjackets and the Rippingtons. The goal of the band is a six piece touring concert band for winery music series', outdoor concerts, fairs and festivals, and the production of several CDs by the end of 2004. We are also keen on considering performing for global and environmental awareness events, and some children's benefits, as well."

Personelle: The band features Mark McCartney on drums, Perry Mills on guitar and vocals, Pat Jacobsen on basses and vocals, Bob Villwock on keyboards, Kit Bailey on percussion and a saxophonist to be named later (since we have not chosen him just yet), which/whom we call "Two-Sheds Jackson" for the time being. <More info on the players>

All the band members have at least 30 years of playing under their belts, and all have CD credits, and time in Hollywood, all have toured somewhat. Every member is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, music-reader and/or composer, producer and music publisher, with memberships in BMI and other organizations within the performing arts. Collectively, the members share over 8,000 hours of studio time and about 5,000 gigs altogether."

Credits & Contributions: Members of the band have performed with, recorded for, produced, or had special appearances as openers or sidemen with many notable groups and performers including: Kenny G., The Temptations, The O'Jays, Ray Charles and Betty Carter, Chuck Mangione, Earl Klugh, Pat Metheny, Pete Escovito, Kit Walker, Holly Penfield, Tower of Power's "Strokeland" horn section, Undisputed Truth, Steppenwolf, Gary Puckett, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Ted Nugent, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Fleetwood Mac, Shana Morrison & Caledonia, Green Things, Bob Bradshaw, Claddagh, Mark Lindsay, Don Costa, Jerry Lewis, Junior Walker and the All-Stars, Wilson Picket, Manhattan Transfer, Hiroshima, Benny Goodman, Sarah Vaughn, Kenny Loggins, Restless Heart, Pacific Brass & Electric, the Buzztones, David Ladd's K.E.Z.R Jazz All-Stars and countless other bands, artists, agencies, orchestras, symphonies and recording dates.
